YA Scavenger Hunt Fall 2018

Welcome to YA Scavenger Hunt! This bi-annual event was first organized by author Colleen Houck as a way to give readers a chance to gain access to exclusive bonus material from their favorite authors…and a chance to win some awesome prizes! At this hunt, you not only get access to exclusive content from each author, you also get a clue for the hunt. Add up the clues, and you can enter for our prize–one lucky winner will receive one book from each author on the hunt in my team! But play fast: this contest (and all the exclusive bonus material) will only be online for 72 hours!

Go to the YA Scavenger Hunt page to find out all about the hunt. There are SIX contests going on simultaneously, and you can enter one or all! I am a part of the Gold Team–but there is also a red team, a blue team, an orange team, a red team, and an indie team for a chance to win a whole different set of books!

If you’d like to find out more about the hunt, see links to all the authors participating, and see the full list of prizes up for grabs, go to the YA Scavenger Hunt page.

Now the hunt is on.

Deep in the wilderness of the Rocky Mountains, Kaya and her captors endure the worst Mother Nature can throw at them. While they are relentlessly pursued across rugged terrain and through raging storms, the captivating stranger who stole her from her father, has also stolen her heart. Caught in the middle of a deadly game, Kaya desperately tries to do the right thing. Her survival soon comes down to a difficult choice, one she must make between old loyalties and new love.

Passionate, sexy, and dark, Serenade sings a timeless tale of courage, self-discovery, and the power of finding your own voice on an epic journey of life-or-death love.

Blurb:

Luke’s life is hanging by a thread and Kaya has minutes to save him. That means going back to her father and facing a fate worse than death–and Thomas won’t have it. It’s not just their lives on the line though. The fate of many depends on Kaya’s heartbeat; Henry has a weapon of mass destruction, and he intends to use it.
With the help of her new-found family, Kaya tries to find a way to stop her father, but simply surviving might be the only answer. Finding an inner strength she never thought possible, she vows to do whatever it takes to gain control and save the man she loves–and nobody can stop her.
Time is ticking…
A spine-tingling thrill ride that explores the depths of true-love, Rhapsody is the gripping conclusion of the Night music Trilogy.

  1. I don’t have a spring read I’m most excited for. I get excited when I stumble upon a book-new or old-and write now I’m trying to find book 3 in the Cybil Quindt mysteries by Ilsa Mayr. I found 4 and then 2 in the giveaway section in my library (and read them in that order) but not 1 or 3. Which likely were snapped up by others, as I grabbed four and didn’t see the others (likely, I saw them and wasn’t interested until I read 4 and fell in love and looked up what the other titles were in the series) then the next week managed to grab #2. Half Price sold me #1 for $2.50 and now I’m on the hunt for the 3rd book. This is not the first time I’ve read a series completely out of order-I did that for the 1-800-WHERE-R-U series too. I went 3,1,4,2,5 (or 3, 1, 2, 4, 5 idk it was almsot a decade ago) and both series are actually read-out-of-order-and-still-understandable. But. Right now I’m looking for #3, Alibi for A Cold Winter’s Night.

  2. I think almost all the books I’ve been waiting for this year are out except for Kingdom of Ash, How She Died, How I Lived and Girls of Paper and Fire. Still a lot of good reads being released but I think those are the top of my list!

  3. I don’t have a particular favorite winter 2018 readIm looking forward to. I want to read them all… muahaha! Anyway, that’s for being a part of the hunt!

  4. hmm I have a TBR pile of over 700 on good reads but I think Fallen Academy by Leia Stone and seeker (royal trials) by Tate James are the ones I’m excited for the most

  5. I am not sure what is coming out this winter/spring, but I am super excited for Kingdom of Ashes by Sarah J Maas to come out this month! Thanks for the giveaway!

  6. I don’t know if November really counts for Winter 2018 but there’s only two more books that I’m looking forward to this year and those are Girls of Paper and Fire and Empress of All seasons. This was a crazy year for new releases!
